Meet Ortho Stride

If you've been eyeing zero-drop shoes for the wide toe box and natural foot movement, but couldn't get past shoes that look like something you'd wade through a creek in, this is what you were waiting for.

Ortho Stride gives you the real zero-drop with actual cushioning underneath, so your first mile doesn't feel like your first mistake. No break-in gamble, no "give it six months and see." Just a shoe you can wear from your commute to dinner without anyone asking what's on your feet.

Room Where It Matters

Tight, tapered toe boxes push your toes into a shape they were never meant to hold — squeezed together, crowded at the joint, sore by the end of the day. Ortho Stride's wide toe box lets your toes spread out and sit in their natural position instead of fighting the shoe for space.

The zero-drop sole keeps your foot flat, so weight isn't pushed forward onto that same pressure point with every step. Less squeezing. More room.

Questions?

We Have Answers

01

I have bunions. Will this help?

Bunions are often made worse by shoes that squeeze your toes into a narrow point. Ortho Stride's wide toe box gives your toes room to sit in their natural position instead of being forced together, and the zero-drop sole keeps weight from pushing forward onto that same pressure point.

02

I have plantar fasciitis. Is zero-drop a good idea for me?

This one comes down to personal preference and your current foot situation.

Heel elevation takes tension off the plantar fascia directly, which is why our other styles are built around it. For many people, that's the more direct relief, especially early on, since it eases the stretch on the fascia and calf with every step.

Zero-drop works differently: it keeps your heel and forefoot level, which means more stretch through the calf, Achilles, and fascia with each stride, something many people find helps build foot and lower leg strength over time. Because of that, some people prefer to ease into zero-drop once things have calmed down, rather than switching over during a painful flare-up.

Every foot is different, so if your pain is active or ongoing, it's worth a quick conversation with a healthcare professional.

03

Do I need to "break in" or ease into zero-drop shoes?

With true minimalist barefoot shoes, usually yes. Ortho Stride is designed to feel comfortable from day one thanks to the added cushioning, so most people don't need a slow break-in period. If you're new to zero-drop, some people still prefer shorter wear at first to see how their feet respond.

04

What's the difference between Ortho Stride and other zero drop shoes?

Most barefoot shoes strip out cushioning entirely for maximum ground feel — great for some, uncomfortable for others. Ortho Stride keeps the zero-drop, wide-toe-box benefits but adds real cushioning and arch support underneath, so you're not choosing between natural movement and everyday comfort.

05

Can I wear the shoes all day without discomfort?

Absolutely. The stretchable knit fabric, lightweight design, and supportive sole make these perfect for all-day wear — whether you're working, walking, or running errands.

06

Do the shoes fit true to size?

Our shoes fit true to size for most customers. The flexible knit upper gently adapts to your foot shape for a comfortable, secure fit, and we offer free exchanges if you need a different size.

07

Are the shoes suitable for wide or swollen feet?

Yes, the stretchable upper and roomy toe box make them a great option for wide or swollen feet, ensuring a pressure-free, flexible fit.

08

Do the shoes offer extra grip?

They're designed with a rubber outsole for added comfort on everyday indoor and outdoor surfaces, helping you feel supported with each step.

FINALLY! My feet aren't screaming at me!! I've bought and returned several different brands of shoes in recent months, online and in stores, feeling more desperate with every attempt to find shoes that fit. But, my bunion has room and I'm as happy as ever!

I’m a teacher who stands the entire day. I needed comfortable, supportive shoes that didn’t necessarily look athletic or unprofessional. These shoes fit that bill perfectly. As a middle aged teacher, if there’s a foot issue, I’ve had it. These shoes have plenty of toe space & the sole is comfortable, they feel better than when I walk barefoot. I will definitely be buying another pair.

I have been considering getting a wide toebox sneaker for a long time. I have a morton's neuroma (or a couple) in my right foot. Even regular wide width mens shoes don't work well for me. I am a very active mom in my mid 30s, so it has bothered me that I haven't been able to find a proper shoe that actually feels comfortable. I decided to try these because they said they are cushioned and have the wide toe box, and I personally like the zero drop for my foot and for working out.

Y’all! I’ve tried so many barefoot shoe brands and am surprisingly very impressed with these!! I've been searching for quite some time for zero drop shoes that look good and provide some cushioning. 10/10 recommended to my fellow wide shoe barefoot people who might be looking for more cushion!

I’ve been wearing barefoot minimalist shoes for some years now. Recently, I was looking for shoes that had a barefoot design with the zero drop, and wide toe box, but also had some midsole cushioning. These have worked out perfectly. I feel like I’m getting all the benefits of a barefoot shoe without feeling every pebble I step on & my toes have room toe move. These fit perfectly and are super comfy for long walks. They also look good for casual everyday wear.

Finally!

While traveling through the airport, I was impressed by how natural the shape felt.

The zero drop sole is one of my favorite things about this pair. The simple zero-drop setup makes these feel very different from my traditional sneakers.

After several days of regular use, the fit stayed comfortable all the way through.

I already plan to keep wearing these throughout the week. The front of these shoes gives my toes room to spread naturally.

Fantastic!

After several days of regular use, I was glad I had chosen a foot-shaped design. The flat sole construction feels more natural to me than a heavily raised heel.

The broad toe box lets my feet sit naturally instead of being squeezed inward. I already plan to buy this style again.

The even heel and forefoot height has been comfortable for my everyday walks. I would confidently choose another pair for everyday wear. I have no hesitation to buy this style again.

After a few hours on hard floors, I never felt the usual squeezing at the front. I am already tempted to suggest these to anyone curious about zero drop shoes. The level base has a clean, natural feel that I noticed right away.

I would certainly order a second pair in the future. The extra space up front feels noticeably less restrictive than my usual sneakers.

The broad toe box gives me the freedom I was hoping to find in an everyday shoe. The zero drop sole gives me a pleasantly grounded feeling underfoot.

I would confidently wear these for casual days and errands.

Love!

I would happily use these as one of my main walking shoes. The zero-drop design was easier to adjust to than I expected. After several days of regular use, the roomy forefoot continued to feel secure rather than sloppy.

This wider forefoot is exactly what I wanted from a genuinely wide shoe.

Perfect!

The natural-shaped front lets my feet sit naturally instead of being squeezed inward. I already plan to wear these for casual days and errands.

I can easily suggest these to anyone curious about zero drop shoes.

I am already tempted to keep these in my regular shoe rotation. The zero-drop design feels more natural to me than a heavily raised heel.

I will definitely recommend the fit to people who want more toe room. After taking them on several short walks, the zero-drop platform continued to feel easy and balanced. I can easily say the roomy shape was worth trying.

Ideal!

The even heel and forefoot height feels balanced and natural when I walk. The spacious front section is exactly what I wanted from a genuinely wide shoe. The low, level platform has been comfortable for my everyday walks.

The flat underfoot feel makes each step feel steady without feeling stiff. I would certainly suggest these to anyone curious about zero drop shoes. The heel-to-toe level feels comfortable whether I am standing or moving around.

The flat heel-to-toe platform keeps my foot feeling level instead of pitched forward. I can easily order a second pair in the future. I have no hesitation to reach for these when I know I will be walking a lot.

After taking them on several short walks, I was impressed by how natural the shape felt.

I would be comfortable to recommend these to someone who dislikes narrow toe boxes. While traveling through the airport, my feet still felt relaxed inside the shoes.

The untapered front makes longer periods on my feet much more comfortable. I will definitely keep these in my regular shoe rotation.

The heel-to-toe level makes the shoe feel simple and uncomplicated. The lack of a raised heel feels more natural to me than a heavily raised heel.

On my usual morning walk, I never wished for more room around my toes. The open toe area makes the whole shoe feel more natural on my foot.

I could absolutely keep wearing these throughout the week.

Natural!

The generous toe room works especially well for me when my feet swell a little later in the day.

The shape around my toes has enough space without making the rest of the shoe feel loose.

The open toe area gives both my big toe and little toe plenty of breathing room. During a weekend away, the fit felt dependable and comfortable.
